Actually policies are framed at Delhi.(N C e r t). They are all professors. They don't have ground knowledge of villages Hòw can a teacher teach at villages. Policy makers should keep their on villages first and prepare them. It has not been doing since 1947. If govt is changed, they want to stamp their mark. National Educational policy achieved its objectives to some extent. But now what is being implemented not at village level. This should be noticed by govt.

Being in such a dynamic field as education requires a targeted and deliberate approach in having extensive knowledge about educational policies. This knowledge empowers and influences the decision making process. It also guides internal policies as per institution. I strongly believe that individuals who are interested in leading educational institutions should be au fait with these policies as this knowledge has proven to be very advantageous in strategic planning and daily operations.

One thing I have realised is that stakeholder engagement is a key component. It gives an opportunity of exploring varying perspectives and expectations and utilising this information to guide the formation of these policies.Additionally, when there is local engagement in educational policies then it improves the buy-in to the policies.
