I'm not sure there are enough great things to say about Tony! The man is a master at his craft. For any of you who do not like your photo taken, or feel uneasy in front of the camera, Tony will immediately put you at ease! Prior to the shoot, he will send you a couple of videos to study, which will help you when it comes to educating you on how to best perform in front of the camera. But his direction doesn't stop there, during the shoot he ensures that you're doing what you need in order to get the best photo possible! A photoshoot with Tony is not a chore, it's actually a delight! if you need a headshot that will help you stand out from the crowd, definitely get one from Tony..... It could be a game-changer!

I am glad I listened to all the reviews I read about Tony! I booked a session with him and am super pleased with the results. I had a lot of trepidation about having a professional head shot done, but came to the conclusion that the dated selfie I had been using on my social networks did not depict me effectively. Tony was an absolute pleasure to work with and made me feel really comfortable which I think is what enabled him to get some shots we were both pleased with. He is located in a great part of town. I was greeted upon arrival with a smile and a very professional approachable demeanor! I used his services for my business headshot photo. During the entire session I felt at ease and comfortable. I haven’t taken a professional photo in years and he walked me through step by step guiding me into producing the best photo. I had no idea what to expect getting headshots, and before I got to the session I felt quite a bit of anxiety and awkwardness about the whole experience. As soon as I met Tony I felt immediately comfortable, and his professionalism mixed with his personality made the entire experience SO great! My daughter and I both went to Tony for new headshots, and our experience was amazing! We were not rushed at all, he took his time and allowed as many outfit changes as we wanted, and had some really good tips on posing and smiling in such a way I wouldn't have thought of on my own. To achieve a great head shot you need to feel comfortable with the photographer. Tony made me feel like we had been friends for years. He's a nice man and my head shot came out perfect. I would recommend him to anyone!

It's not just a photo shoot, it's an education. I have always taken terrible pictures. I always feel I need to open my eyes, so I have "bug" eyes and looked startled in all my photos. My pics are always terrible, so I just started refusing to participate in photos anymore. I called Tony and warned him that I am not photogenic. He sent me some videos on how to take pictures learning how to "squench" your eyes, drink lots of water, and how to bring your head forward to accentuate your jaw line. He made me feel comfortable at the shoot. I did what he had asked and Voila! I sent the pics to my daughter and her text response was in uppercase "MOM OMG THOSE ARE THE BEST PICTURES IVE EVER SEEN OF YOU", no lies.......I'm shocked how good they came out. He embraces your natural beauty. I'm 52 and thought I needed fake eyelashes, face tape, major photo shop , blah blah and proudly did none of it!!! Thank you Tony :)

Terrific experience! I had successfully avoided having a headshot taken up until I worked with Tony...don't enjoy having my picture taken one bit but knew the time had come. If you need a professional headshot, go to Tony. I searched through about 50 different photographers that do professional photos in Phoenix and Tony's portfolio really stood out. His prices were a little higher than some of the competitors but, to be cliche, you get what you pay for. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend him.

I was completely amazed at how informative he was on the specific look I was trying to achieve and how natural the process and photos turned out, it was unlike any other photography session, time wasn't an issue for Tony & we didn't move on until I was fully satisfied. I recently started a new position as a high level executive and needed to upgrade my professional photos. All of my expectations were exceeded with Tony. His pre-shoot recommendations and coaching were spot on. His make-up artist fantastic. His studio is private and comfortable. Although I was really nervous, Tony made the shoot painless and easy. I’ve had so many compliments on my photos and they have elevated my professional profile. Tony is an expert in this genre. And if you need great headshots, you can’t afford to go with someone who is not an expert.

There are multiple elements of a photo shoot that are markers for its success or failure. When I came across Tony Taafe Photogaphy's website, I had a feeling I had found someone perfect for my needs. From start to finish, Tony was professional, reliable in his communication, and delivered on his expertise in getting not only the shots I had hoped for, but even ones I didn't even know I would love. Furthermore, he provided invaluable tips during the shoot in order for me to yield the most optimal results. His kind demeanor will put you at ease to let your personality come through. Immediately following the shoot, he invited me to look at all of the shots to whittle them down. He takes his time with you; not once will you feel rushed during your experience. Finally, I would like to highlight his turnaround time. He sent off my chosen files to be retouched and sent the final shots to me within 3 days, as he said he would. I couldn't be happier.May I also recommend that when working with Tony, consider using his makeup and hair artist. She is located in the studio below his and is worth every penny.
