I 00 00 00 00 00 00.00 LOCAL NEWS KENTUCKY Newborn boy found near bank's ATM A newborn boy was found wrapped in plastic and clothes near an automated teller machine at a bank yesterday and police have launched an investigation to determine the identity of the mother. Patrolman Mike Wood, public information officer for the Hopkinsville Police Department, said a bank employee heard the baby crying about 7:45 a.m. shortly after arriving for work. The baby was discovered in the ATM vestibule at the North Drive branch of First City Bank and Trust after the employee went to investigate the noise, Wood said. The baby was rushed to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and was in good condition, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Wood said it appeared that the baby had been born within 12 hours of the discovery. I HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (AP) Nashville, TN KEEGAN, Sister James Marie, 0.P.- Age 88. June 19, 2000. A member of St.

Shooting outside mosque wounds one; another arrested MEMPHIS (AP) A shooting outside an Islamic mosque yesterday left a member of the mosque seriously wounded and another man under arrest, police said. Bob Wright, a deputy police chief, said the shooting was not believed to be an attack on the mosque itself, but the FBI said it would look into the incident as a possible hate crime. "It doesn't appear to be (a hate crime) on the face of it, but we are going to monitor it," said Kelli Sligh, an FBI special agent. Danish Siddiqui, a member of the mosque, said a neighbor accused in the shooting has clashed with mosque members before. "The brothers say they've had incidents with him, with him saying things of a hateful nature," Siddiqui said.
